CONTROLS

• 1 Player mode: arrow keys to change directions (just like in snake games!)
• 2 Players mode:
  • Player left: w, a, s, d to change directions
  • Player right: arrow Keys to change directions
• Joysticks: arrow keys
  
• Space when game ends to start the next play (joystick triangle or X)
• Escape to pause and toggle menu in game (joystick circle or B)
• In Title and Menu: up & down to navigate, space to confirm selection (joystick up & down, triangle or X)

GAME & RULES

Earn as many points as possible before timeout, and avoid sudden death.

The gaming space contains the following types that the spades can interact with:

• Sky(cyan): the safe area, no effect
• Soil(black): the thick wall around, can be digged to generate Gap. Digging soil will turn the Spade into "digging" mode (turn to green).
• Gap(purple): the purple area after Soil is digged. Touching Gap in digging mode will cause the spade die.
• Fake food(orange): randomly generate Real Food in Gap when eaten. If there's no Gap in the board, simply disappear when eaten.
• Real Food(yellow): score 1 point when eaten. Spade will get 2 points if in digging mode.

HISTORY

It is an vastly enhanced version of Spade, a game made for TriJam #50 in 3 hours.

The enhanced part includes the following:

1. Two player mode
2. Optmized gaming rule
3. Sci-Fi style visual effect
4. Background music and sfx
5. Various bug fixes
